Well, as many of you know today is Allen Falkner‘s birthday. I figured I couldn’t compete with the abundance of old jokes or insults that all of his loving friends will be showering him with today, so what was left to do but hi-jack Hook Life and sneak in a surprise birthday post?

I don’t think any of us need to be reminded who Allen is, or what he has done for the suspension community. He is by far one of the hardest working individuals I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, and our community wouldn’t be where it is if it weren’t for him. I don’t think I can express it any better than what is already online; by 8 AM there was page after page of birthday wishes from around the world, along with people expressing their gratitude for his work with body suspension.

From everyone in the suspension community, Happy Birthday Allen! Thank you so much for your dedication and the years you have put into moving us forward in safety and education. I hope it’s a wonderful day for you, and we will all see you at Suscon soon!
