Today’s blog entry comes from guest writer Mike “BigMike” Coons of Hooked Suspension

It has been all of our pleasure over the last year to sign onto the HookLife blog and see what has been happening in our community.  Whether you’re on a team that has been written up or you just like to see what’s new in the suspension world, we all owe thanks to Misty, aka. Southtownbaby, for her well written and always entertaining posts.

From an outsiders prospective it’s easy to see how busy she is and how hard it must be for her to keep up. She fills her days as a body piercer and from what I’ve seen an outstanding scarification artist at Southtown Tattoo & Body Piercing in Fort Smith Arkansas. She is also plays a major role in the running of her suspension team, Hanging City Suspensions. Theirs is one of the most friendly groups I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with and anybody else who has had the experience I’m sure would say the same. They did an amazing suspension show at the Freaks & Fetish, Dallas SusCon opening party that had Misty herself suspending TWICE in the same evening. It was beautiful and amazing to watch. I also had the pleasure to work with her team frequently throughout SusCon weekend and these guys are great at what they do and seem willing to always keep learning new things.

As you can see, Misty has a very full plate, but as we all know she still finds the time to write a very active blog here on HookLife. I can only imagine the time that goes into going over what has to be hours of footage and hundreds of pictures of suspensions from around the world and then sitting down and writing amazing articles about these suspensions and the teams involved. If you’ve ever been written up in one of her blogs, you know that she has the ability to seem like she knows you and what your team is all about whether or not she has actually met you or not.

So whether or not you know Misty personally, or just enjoy her blog posts please comment below and let her know that we all appreciate what it is she does for us and our community as a whole.  From me and everyone else in the family,  thank you very much for all the you do and please keep up the amazing work.  And we’ll all be checking in daily to see what the next amazing story is.
