March 22nd, 2011 – We are sad to report that Adam C. Aries passed away in his sleep from heart failure. Zid as most of us knew him was a member of Rites of Passage suspension team, a piercer at Pino Bros Ink, and a character unlike any other. He was a positive and influential member of our community that will be greatly missed. Zid was only 28 years old.

It’s still sinking in, slowly. Adam will be missed, mourned, honored and remembered by those of us who’s lives he enriched. In the time I was lucky enough to spend with him, Adam was a cheerleader for bad ideas, a babysitter to me when those bad ideas came to fruition and even a time or two the one needing babysat. I’ve called him Zid, Zidney, and Adam over the years, but most importantly I can say I was able to call him friend.
I’ll be making a pilgrimage to the Double Down in Vegas during APP, toasting his memory.
Rest in Peace, brother.
I hope to join that pilgrimage. I really was looking forward to seeing him at the suscon. I never knew Zid that well, but he was always kind to me and friendly. I looked forward to getting to know him better.
RIP
ZiD was a friend, brother, and accomplice when ever you needed him to be.He was so unique anyone would have trouble findings the words to do his memory justice….But that’s made up for by the infectious smile that spreads across your face like a shot gun blast when you reflect on the crazy times and adventures while in his company. I think Adam would be happy with that. you’ll always be loved and missed my friend.
